Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m Gents Watch $5000-$7500

Hello!  It’s men’s fashion Mondays!

You can never go wrong in choosing an Omega watch.  If you’re a classy, modern, guy who wants quality and sophistication in a watch, but maybe not so much the price of a Rolex, then this watch is for you.  There is a plethora of styles to choose from and comes in various colours to suit any gentlemen’s lifestyle.

This one is a bit of an older model, but it still holds up to its class and is a timeless piece.  My hubby says that it’s his favourite out of all his watches – and he has a lot of watches. He says “It’s perfect for just hanging out with the guys or for a night on the town.”

A pop of pink

Soft Cuff Toque $20, Cabin String Mitt $36 from Roots Canada.

Old Navy Duffel Style Coat on sale for $38, Hunter Boots $130, Coach Bag $99, H&M Knitted Tube Scarf $12, H&M Sweater $56

I loved sporting this winter street style with a happy pop of pink.  During the dreary winter months when all is covered in white snow, a splash of pink accessories just picks up my mood.

Bright coloured toques and strings on mittens are not just for my daughter.  This toque sits perfectly on your head and slouches just right. I love that these string mittens make it easy for me to do what I need to do with my hands, without worrying about where to keep my mittens, and still giving me quick access for when I need to warm my hands up again. These string mittens are just unique and fun in their own right.

Go get them! Roots Canada has other colours available in both the toque and mitts.

Blanket Scarf Obsession

IMG_2135

Blanket scarf bought on Etsy for $17.99. But on sheinside.com, they are available in a variety of colours and styles for under $15.

As you may have already noticed these blanket scarves are popping up as the latest winter trend.  They are the fashion accessory to flaunt during this winter season.

Depending on your mood and the look you’re going for, the mere size of blanket scarves allows for you to style and wear them in different ways. Besides being practical in keeping you warm, it allows you to bring that cozy soft feeling of your favourite blanket from home, while creating a chic fashionable look at the same time.

I scored a great find by buying this super soft, top quality blanket scarf on Etsy that mimics the Zara tartan blanket scarf.

Go-to beauty picks

IMG_1870

(l-r): Benefit they’re real push-up liner $24, Stila colour balm lipstick in brigitte $22, Bare Minerals Original SPF 15 Foundation light $34, L’Oreal Voluminous Butterfly mascara $9, Urban Decay Naked2 Basics eye shadow palette $29, Viktor Rolf Flowerbomb Eu de Parfum Rollerball $30

Hello Tuesday!  Here are a few of my go-to beauty picks that I use.

Benefit they’re real push-up liner   This liner took me a bit of time to get use to putting on. But once I got the hang of it, it’s been full proof ever since.  It allows you to make thick or thin lines with ease and glides on smoothly. Plus, it’s sort of waterproof.  Once it’s on, it won’t smudge off easily. Depending on how thick I make the lines on my eyes, I sometimes have to take it off with a good makeup remover (I use Lancôme Bi-facil Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover $36).

Stila colour balm lipstick   If you want colour on your lips, but don’t want a colour as bold as red, then this is perfect for you. I love wearing this lipstick for a nice pop of colour on my face during the winter season.

Bare Minerals Original SPF 15 Foundation light   I’m a girl who doesn’t have a lot of time to put on makeup. So, I was looking for a no-fuss, no-muss foundation that provided the coverage I needed. This was it! Depending on where I need to go and how much coverage I need, I can easily use more or less of it without having more than one type of foundation. It’s simple to use and quick to put on with my kabuki brush, for a smooth and flawless look.

L’Oreal Voluminous Butterfly mascara   I have tried numerous mascaras, but this mascara is my favourite by far. It delivers what it says it intends to do and applies the mascara exactly where you need it to go. The revolutionary butterfly brush spreads, extends and lifts the outer corner of your lashes for a perfect winged-out look. The bonus is it’s not going to break the bank.

Urban Decay Naked2 Basics eye shadow palette   Looking for neutral eye shadow shades?  Look no further.  This has all the neutral colours I need for that natural or smokey-eye look.

Viktor Rolf Flowerbomb Eu de Parfum Rollerball   I am not one for a strong floral scent, so I wasn’t sure about trying this.  However, to my surprise, this has become a favourite of mine. The floral notes are subtle, but are enough to awaken my senses in a positive light. A girl on the go, who loves to explore far away places like me, needs this. The rollerball makes it quick and easy to put on and is the perfect size for travel.

Until next time Lovelies!

Pajar Guardo Men’s Snow Boots $179

Since I feel that men can be fashionable too, every now and then, on a Monday, I will post and blog about my favourite men’s fashion + style.

These Pajar winter boots have warmth and style rolled into one. Available in different colours, they are not bulky and heavy like others. They have a dependable grip and are waterproof for a go-to comfort during cold winter weather. The inside faux fur gives it a touch of softness and luxury for your feet.

Here’s to future men’s fashion Mondays.

Hunter Boots – Yes, please!

2015/01/img_1744.jpg
Hunter Original Tall Packable Tour Rain Boots in Military Red $165 (found a deal and only cost me $135 brand new on Ebay).

Loving what came in the mail the other day. These Hunter Boots live up to the quality of the brand. Add these red boots to any outfit for a pop of colour, rain or shine. Aside from being lighter than the Hunter Original Tall Boots, these fold easily for travel or anytime you want to take them on the go.

I have two other pairs of Hunters, but in different styles and colours. I’ve never been disappointed. I’m a Hunter girl for life!

Besides, anything good enough for the queen is good enough for me.
